Waking up early is one of the things that really enriched my life. It has been an upgrade to my daily existence.
As a husband and dad of three kids time is becoming more and more precious and valuable. I love spending time with my wife and kids, but I also want to get things done and have some time for exercise, meditation and hobbies.
Waking up early really did the trick for me. It’s really nice to have some quiet time while everyone is still asleep, enjoy a healthy and mindful breakfast and then get a head start on the day before the kids wake up at 7.30 am.
I usually work on one or two most important tasks that I want to get done before the sun rises and then spend the rest of the time on something I really love doing. I usually play guitar, meditate, do some breathing techniques, read, write or any of the lovely things in the list below.

take a walk on the beach
Hi Buzz,
Walking on the beach does miracles. It clears your whole mind, it’s a great place to feel at peace and visualize the rest of your day.
Thanks!

Play my guitar!
An undeniably great morning ritual 🙂
Watching the female blackbird building a nest in the buxwood bush in my garden.
Hi Rob,
You lucky man! I’m still waiting patiently for a blackbird to make a home and settle down in my back garden. Time stands still when it happens.
Thanks for sharing.
Best regards,
Klaus Crow
It’s good to see someone thinking it through.
5 minutes of rope jumping, some push ups and reading your amazing blogs! You’re very inspiring! Keep up the good job and vibe!
Hi William,
What a great way to start the day with exercise and a good read 😉
There’s great value in carving out some personal quality time to improve,
maintain your health, getting things done, or working on something creative.
Best,
Klaus Crow
I typically get up around 6:00 on a regular day, and at that time my dad is at work or leaving for work so I stay in bed and okay on my phone for 10-15 minutes. Then, I like to snuggle with my dogs and feed them and take them outside to potty! But one of the things that’s helped me most was talking a walk or getting exercise in the morning to wake you up and stretch your body out! Ahhhhh
